alrite i went to the mechanic and they performed an oil change, timing belt change, thermostat change, and some other stuff to my engine but i still hear that noise at 2000-3000 rpm i think my stepfather asked the mechanics to leave that to my uncle.
it never overheated on me until that day that i posted it and i wasnt paying too much attention to the temp because i only drove it for ten minutes when i saw thetemp nearing the topi stopped by a store and thatswhen the engine stopped. i waited ten minutes then drove again and it turned off about a block to my house and then in front of my house.

Well just make sure you turn your heat on max if it starts to climb again to reduce the heat in the engine bay. I would get that checked out asap. As for the noise? I have no idea. I would try posting it in the "engine & internal" section so more of the knowledgeable people will be able to see this and help you. Good luck, and let us know what it is so it may help others who have the same problem!

well my engine almost overheated but i remembered what 19accord97 told me and it saved my engine big time! i recently found outthat the car needs oil and a new oil filter, and the transmition fluid is perfect though. I'll post that problem with the noise at 2000-3000 rpm at the other section and ill post what i find out in this section thanks for the advice
