I just bought my first new car yesterday. An Accord EX V6 Sedan. They ended up giving me a price of $2000 below invoice. I think I got a pretty good deal in that regards.

Then they sold me on a protection package for $989. It includes paint protection, interior protection, rust protection, underbody coating, and they also threw in window tinting. I'm not sure if it was a good decision to get this deal because I had not done any research on the prices beforehand. It's too late to change my mind on this stuff now though since they are working on it today.

The final thing was a 5-year/100,000 mile Honda Care plan for $1640. The buying experience was great until I met with the financing guy. I think I told him about 10 times that I didn't want the warranty. I got tired of arguing and agreed to it knowing I could always cancel for a full refund. My question is, do you guys think an extended warranty is worth getting for an Accord? Would 7-year/100,000 miles for $900 be a good deal. Or should I not get a warranty at all.
