Looking to purchase 03'-04' and have questions
I'm going to soon become an 03'-04' owner and have some questions if you don't mind. I am thinking of buying a certified used vehicle for piece of mind but want to know how much dealers will typically drop their prices. As expected, they are all over the board. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for the warranty and the fact that it has been recon'd. Just wouldn't mind getting some realistic expectations on what I can expect to bargain. Honda's seem like the Toyotas I own. They hold their value so well, it's a pain to look at them used.
Any tips, feedback etc., would be appreciated.
Looking forward to owning a Honda. My wife had two when we first met and we loved them.

If you were buying a BMW, I would say definitely get the warranty, as the cars have lots of small issues, and can nickle and dime you to death.
For a Honda product, as long as you have it checked out with inspection, I would not be too concerned with the CPO warranty. If you find one that's CPO and the price is right, then by all means, but I wouldnt pay over a grand for that, if even that much.

Thanks. That's the same idea I had, not paying more than a grand for the certified warranty. Every car can have issues though, otherwise Honda dealerships wouldn't have cars in service!
Just trying top get an idea of what people are paying so I can go in with a reasonable starting point to bargain. I hate the whole bargaining process.

I paid $16,4 for my 04 v6 lx coupe with 23.5k on it. I bought it in Chicago cuz in Naptown they wouldnt go less than $17 for 03's with 45k. It kinda depends on how many Honda dealerships are in the vicinity of where you're looking..theyre were 11 within an hours drive in CHi and only 4 in the NAp.
