Default Lopeing after egr valve change?

My first post! so sorry if my etiquette isn't on pointSo, vehicle in question is 98 honda accord 4 cyl LX. It was running just okay with the egr engine code. I swapped out the EGR and also cleaned out the throttle body, intake manifold and upper plenum. All new gaskets. Also had to remove the fuel rail and of course all fuel injectors. I attempted to clean the fuel injectors while they where off. When I first fired it up it wasn't getting unough fuel and I realised I had left off the tube which connects the idle air control valve to the fuel rail (dont know if it matters) I then re-connected it fired up but now its idling terribly! If I open the throttle it seems to respond okay but idles down really fast.
My guess is either I damaged a fuel injector or an one of the many electrical connections?
Anyone had a similar problem or have any ideas? Thanks for any advice! - Jeff

On my wife's 2000 Accord, after I replaced the EGR, and had the upper part of the plenum off, I had to replace the IAC valve in order to get rid of the loping. I don't know if you're having the same issue or not though.
