Hello everyone, new to the forum and to Honda. Bought a used 05' ex 4cyl w/ low miles and it needs brakes. I was told at the dealer that they are ready to be replaced. On a budget of course, but wouldn't mind a bit of an upgrade to maybe a slotted set all around w/ pads to back them up. Looking for suggestions for both brakes and any other mild upgrades that could help the car overall. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Look around...there are a few brands for slotted rotors. Also some have use hawk and ebc pads and been happy with them.

I'm old,yes still have a little fun every now and then, so the OE stuff is fine for me.
