Default New '04 V6 Manual Accord Owner seeking guidance

Hello, friends! I just bought my 2004 Honda Accord a few weeks back, and it didn't take me long to realize that this car has genuine potential. My question is, what should I do to it, how do I make it better, faster, better, sleeker etc.
Additionally, I would like to make the exhaust louder, but I also want to avoid the stigma of Honda drivers making their cars sound loud without any real power.

Thanks for joining.

Of course the best money is spent on gerneral maint items - make sure everything is up to date - plugs, t-belt job, all fluids, ect.

Then I suggest that you look into an updated J-pipe.

Hello and welcome to the forum

There are many Accord after-market and OEM parts & accessories available from many vendors. Carid is one of this forum's sponsors which feature parts for the Accord, here is a link to their site:

Hello and welcome to the forum! Congrats on your Accord - its a great car and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. A lot of good info here regarding mods in case you are thinking of doing any. Check out some of the garages and you may get some ideas. Feel free to ask any questions if needed!

Wider wheels and tires with no shorter than a 3.75" sidewall will yield significant gains in handling (at the expense of winter traction if that is an issue for you). Stiffer swaybars can also yield some benefit if you spend a lot of time in heavy left-right-left transients. Beyond that, I'd leave the drivetrain bone stock unless you want to go to the expense of installing Acura TL cams and/or heads.
