Hi All,

I have a 2008 Accord Coupe v6 6MT that I would like to change the shift **** from factory to the JDM Type R Titanium shift ****. I have owned the car since new, and find the factory **** too tall, squarish, and not very attractive. I assume that I can reduce the throw at least an inch by replacing the ****, and am not sure whether or not I can use the factory boot with this **** (factory boot is squarish to fit factory ****, but Type R **** is round).

I have not found a factory manual to show what the ****, boot and assembly look like, and have not yet attempted to take it apart.

If anyone has taken theirs apart, or has access to a factory shop manual, I would appreciate some input and images, if available.
