New 90 Accord owner
Hello all. I just bought a 90 Accord to get me back and forth to work. When I bought it the check engine light was on and it was leaking oil from the front of the engine. The past owner said he replaced the head gasket, distributor, and steering rack. After some research I figured out the O2 sensor was bad. That fixed the check engine light. I'm still only getting about 25 mpg. I have changed the radiator, fuel filter, replaced the crank and cam seal (stoped the oil leak) ,and checked the timing. I have ordered a cap, rotor, and wires. I hope this will help the mpg. I'm sure I will be tapping into the knowledge on this forum in the near future.

Thanks for the welcome. 80% of my driving is interstate so I figured it would be better. I was told by some coworkers that their Hondas got around 35 but I don't know what models they had. I guess I will be happy with 25 then.

How many miles on your '90? You may want to check the catalytic converter. I've seen them online for your model year at less than $150
