New Accord Coupe owner
Hi all.
Tonight I bought a '99 Accord Coupe 2.0 Auto.
Looking forward to gettting it a good run, and will upload pictures over the weekend.
It is a replacement for a Peugeot 406, and previous to that an Alfa Romeo GTV, it seems to combine the two nicely but hopefully with a lot better reliability!
Hope to contribute and get hints and tips along the way.
Cheers!

Thank you everybody.
Well I've been driving it this week in and out of work and the occasional motorway run.
Fantastic big cruiser!
Very luxurious and comfortable, comparable to my dads 728i and even more comfortable than the hydropneumatic suspensioned Citroen I used to own!
Everyone I have shown it to, or offered lifts to, have been impressed.
Only problems are that the fuel gauge stops at around 1/4 on the way down. I think this is a common accord problem and may be the float?
Just worried in case I run to empty one day and get stranded.
Also, she is quite thirsty compared to my old car. But I kinda suspected that this would be the case going from a diesel to a 2.0 litre automatic. The price we pay for comfort, with the threat of £2 a litre on the horizon.
I will upload photos if it ever stops raining and I can give it a proper polish, and I hope to contribute to the forum when I can!
Thank you!
