New to board
Hello all,
I am Pete (poorboy_616), my wife just recently (3 days ago) purchased a 1991 Accord LX 4dr. Sedan with an auto.
It's her 1st Honda, my third.
Pics will happen once I locate the digi-cam.
The car is bone stock, except a nice set of modern rims and a decently nice sound system. I just finally got my first look at the car today, so I am still learning about it.
It drives very nicely, with the exception of needing a tune-up. It has a stutter on take off and at low speeds. We have the records from the previous owner, but none of them state when the last tune-up happened, so I think it's time. At least it won't hurt to give it some fresh parts, even if it doesn't help.....
A little run-down of my first two Honda's:
in 1998 I bought a very well broken in 1983 Accord 2dr. Hatchback 1.8L 5spd, with 450,000 Miles on it. The car lasted me a little under a year before it got totalled in an accident that nearly cost me my life.
In 1999 I bought my second Honda; an '85 Prelude, 1.8L Dual carb 5 spd with about 160,000 on it. Fun and effecient. I sold it to a friend of mine so I could go back to school. I do miss the Prelude quite a bit. If I can convince her to let me sell the '84 Toronado (now mine) I might just pick up another Prelude.
I have a few years experience in auto repair and a couple years in Diesel and large truck repair, so automotive repair is nothing new to me. Though I may need some help, as I haven't done professional repair on a few years......(especially on Honda's)

Thanks guys!
I do feel welcome here, plus the quick help, well, helps.
I am learning what the PO did to molest this car. So far it looks like it was all done professionally, so I haven't found any nasty supprises as of yet.....
