Default New to the board

Hey, I have a 04 Accord Sedan that I am fixing up for my wife so she won't be jealous about my DD. I have already but a put a t-rex billet grilles in the upper and lower front bumper. And it's on some 17" ADR's in hyper silver. I do need help with changing the auto trans fluid, and how often do you guys change your brake fluid?

Interval on the brake fluid change isn't very often, basically I'd just check it with every other oil change, if it looks dirty then change it,

As for the tranny, there is a drain plug underneath it towards the firewall, I believe it just uses a 1/4" drive to remove it, pull the plug, let it drain (about 3 or 4 quarts come out), re-fill through the dipstick (a nice flexable funnel with a small spout works wonders here), drive around for about 10 minutes and repeat the process 2 more times, this ensures that you get good, new fluid throughout all the tranny. If these instructions are screwy then someone will come along soon and correct me.

Welcome to the forum and don't forget the pictures!

what's your DD?

np, sometimes it's a quick response sometimes it's slower but we do what we can!

What are your future plans for the Accord?

Right now I am looking for a nice clean set of tail lights to replace the stockers. I know that sounds simple but I am having a hard time with it. There is a ton of silver accords in town and from the front and side I am covered by the car having a little something. I will post pics when I get off work and everybody can see where I am at.
