Hi all. I should have joined this forum a long time ago since I often read posts from it while trying to fix my Honda. I have a 2000, 4 door SE model with 2.3L ULEV. It was gift from my grandfather so I keep it partly for sentimental reasons but mostly I just like driving the car especially on rainy days when I'm not riding my primary ride - 2016 Diamondback Mountain Bike. I also drive a 1968 Ford F100 so I like that the Honda is easy on the gas.

I recently went through more of a project than anticipated and I'm still trying to eliminate a few issues which is what finally motivated me to join. The main issue was the car was running on 3 cylinders. It actually ran pretty well for running on 3. Long story short, I ended up having to replace the upper cylinder head and a bunch of stuff that one would logically replace along the way. I started this last thanksgiving (2017) and finally got it running in February but I'm still chasing a surging idle and several codes: P1165, P1167, P1169. I haven't really seen anyone solve this problem on the forum unless I missed it. Anyway, I'll continue my post in the appropriate thread.
