New to this forum and to Hondas in general. Just bought my first honda after working on Nissans for the last 15 yrs. With that said let the fun begin. I have a 1997 accord dx sedan, all manual. Any help and guidance is welcomed. CHEERS!

Welcome!

Hondas have a few of their own "things", but the majority of stuff is like any other car.

Automatic transmission? Use Honda fluid, it's different.

Power steering fluid is special too. A couple companies make stuff, but the bottle has to say "For Honda/Acura".

When you're ready to do brakes, search General Tech for "hub-over-rotor" or ask about doing the brakes.

My plans are to replace the coilovers it has now to something a little bit better for daily driving. Had plans on building the bottom end and turbo, but when u opened up the valve cover there was so much gunk that I've changed my mind. Will run motor til dead, gonna pull one out the junkyard and build that for the time being.
