The New Guy
Hello all,
Well, I'm new here. Looks like a good forum. My name isJohnny, 31 years oldand I live innortheast Pa. So, I come from a Toyota MR2 Spyder (Fantastic Car), but for whatever reasons, I'm in my 2002 Accord EX V6 fully loaded now
I've actually owned this car for six months now. It has 114,000 miles on itand runs flawlessly. When I got it I had the original wheels on it, but I'm currently running 16" AR rims. I need new tires, so I'm going to throw on my set or AR 17's (which makes the stock and AR 16's available in the "For Sale" section).
I miss my Spyder, but I do love this Accord. It's powerful, comfortable, quiet (which the Spyder certainly wasn't) and it's in great condition. I traded a motorcycle and an atv for this car with my good friend Chris who owned the car since new and primarily used it to commute on the highway.
So, on Christmas night, a friend of mine backed into it and crunched the hood a bit. His insurance company is sending a check that will more than cover the damage. It's due to be in for repairs on Feb. 5th.
As soon as it's fixed, I'll be sending it to a different shop for oil, tranny and coolant fluid changes along w/ filters, etc. I'll also get the new rubber on the 17's installed.
I also have a 2003 Honda VFR for those of you who are into motorcycles... Bikes are my true passion in life.
...And both of 'em have VTEC!

RE: The New Guy
welcome to the forum! nice looking car, make sure when you take it in for service that the shop just does a drain and re-fill on the tranny, DO NOT flush the tranny with a machine, honda's don't respond well to that.... Motorcycles huh? I need to get pics of my 81 up here, it's mint and beautifull too.... has the timing belt ever been done? if not then I'd GREATLY suggest that you do a timing belts, seals and water pump
