I bought my new 2014 Accord Touring last week, and am just getting around to lurking the various Accord forums.

It is my 4th Honda (3rd Accord), after a 20 year hiatus. (also: 1980 Accord hatchback, 1988 Accord DX Hatchback, 1987 CRX-si)


Have been a... *GULP*... Camry/Camry Hybrid owner since 2006 (Brother worked for Toyota, and got me insane deals). I could never get the "Brother-in-law" deal on a Honda... until NOW! Boy, it is nice being back in the fold. I liked my Camrys. But, I've gotten more enjoyment out of 1 week of Honda ownership, than I had with 8 years in Toyotas.

I bought the car 450 miles away, flew and got it, and drove it home. It was a sweet experience!

Looking forward to getting the best out of my ride...

Yes, it IS Mississippi. I have lived here, for the last 16 years. Lived in every corner of the State, my whole life. Being that I've now lived in Gulfport longer than anywhere else, it's now where I say I'm "From." But my Mother, and her family, is from Texas. So, I've consider myself a vicarious Texan as well.

I'm glad to be a part of the forum. While I'm someone who (obsessively) keeps their car stock, I love seeing what others do to optimize/personalize their cars for their use.

 

More like, the BLAND side. While my last Camry saved my life (twice), it was like driving an appliance.
