Just bought 2003 vtec accord 1.8 petrol. FSH to 5k miles ago. 71k on clock.

I`m looking for a heads-up on what to keep an eye on or possible problems to keep in check.

Hello and welcome to the forum Adam.

As per any car, keep on top of services. Keep everything in top tip, eg if you got sunroof, use it at least once a week, or air con for that matter.

 

Also, when you ask stuff, remind is that you're not in USA. (The 1.8L & "petrol" gives you away) Your Accord isn't the same car as a USA Accord. It's more of a match to the Acura TSX.
