Default New to Hondas and car fixin'

Hi there... I never posted when I was actually new; I was in a hurry, having no car heat in a Minnesota winter. But after reading the tips here, my repair-experienced buddy and I replaced the blower motor which, the mechanic said we'd never be able to do! I totally saved it.

My buddy is into Subarus, which was what I had last. He showed me how to replace the radiator since that was the only way I could afford to get it running. What a great feeling!! I've always felt like fixing cars is something I "can't do". Now every time something breaks and I get past the "oh, F*" I have a happy moment of "wait! I'll bet I can fix that!"

When I fixed the trunk latch all by myself from looking at the shop manual I bored the bejeezus outta everyone with how much I talked about it.

I'm here again, today, to find info on another repair; with a '92 Accord I expect I'll be around a lot. But at least this way I get a twisted joy out of having an old cranky car.

take care everyone!
