I'm installing a new aftermarket right side mirror with LaneWatch camera on my 2014 Accord EX-L. The problem is I can't get the LaneWatch camera to work (the mirror actuator works fine). When I go into LaneWatch in diagnostics, it says nothing is connected. This is actually the second assembly I'm trying to install. The first one did not include a camera so I used the OEM camera from the original broken mirror and that didn't work either. So I took the OEM camera and reconnected it using the original broken mirror and it works fine so I know my wiring from the door to the screen is fine. Could it be that I really bought two bad aftermarket mirror assemblies or is there some type of "activation" I need to do with the new mirrors in order to recognize the camera get it to work?
