Default new to me 1990 Accord

Just bought a 1990 Accord EX yesterday. I'd like to do some of the maintenance on it myself, but I might have a question or two along the way so I thought it would be a good idea to make friends with some people in the know. Car drives pretty good for the year model.

I had a '85 4 door Honda civic that I drove in college (90-95) and then sold. Last I heard that car was still on the road and I'm still kicking myself for ever getting rid of it.

Then I got my wife a 2000 Accord EX V6. Very nice ride. She wasn't a big Honda person before that, but that accord changed her mind. In '05 I got her an Acura MDX.

I also have an '08 Mustang GT, but it's getting impractical to drive that car on a daily basis. I've been scouting out Honda's for about a month until this baby feel in my lap. They don't last long so you have to jump on 'em when you find one.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to working on this car and returning it to some semblence of its former glory. I know I'm gonna have some questions and I'm hoping maybe someone here might be able to answer them. I'll post some pics when I can. She's no beauty queen right now, but I plan to put her under the knife.

I remember my 1983 Civic Sports fondly, only a little 1250cc engine in it, black with red trim and it was like a mini-rocket and I hammered it back and forth between London and Cornwall many times a week, what killed it was the lack of parts availability and so it sputtered off to the scrapyard in the sky
