New Member 2012 Accord EX V6.
Hi,
1st time Honda owner here. 58 years old in January 2013. I was looking for a 2013 Accord with a V6 but Honda only offered the V6 on models with a leather interior, etc. That's just not me. I wanted the engine but didn't need the fancy stuff. I luckily found a couple of 2012 Accord EX V6's and they fit my needs perfectly. I chose the one in alabaster silver and absolutely love it.
I'm interested in what care care products the Honda Accord Forum members use on their vehicles to keep them looking new? What's products are best for keeping brake dust from collecting on the coated alloy wheels without scratching or removing the coating during application? What about Polishers and waxes? Should I be looking at Mother's, Meguiar's or something as common place as Armor All? Lastly ..... What product should I use on the interior plastic "wood look" trim? I'm old fashioned. I really like the way it looks. I'd like to keep it looking like new.
More than just an after thought ....... I Freakin' Love This Engine !!!

Thank You for the Welcome. This is the first Honda I've ever owned and I'm loving it. The Frank Leta Honda dealership in St. Charles County, MO was excellent. I kind of went all out on an expected long term ownership, (I owned my last new car for 11 years and gave it to my youngest son and his wife when I bought the new Honda). I added an extended bumper to bumper warranty that goes for 8 years or 125,000 miles. They didn't offer anything longer.
