Just bought my daughter actually, a 2005 Accord coupe. I did a quick search on VIN and it said it was a special edition. Does anyone know what that means? Im just curious about this car in general. I bought it from a young man in a thunderstorm, seriously, so Im still coming across some things. I know it has the 2.4 engine, but is it the V-Tec ? On the valve cover, there is a place where looks like might have been the V-Tec label, but not sure. My daughter loves it and my wife loves her 2011 Accord. If anyone could share anything about the 2005 Accord, I would really appreciate it. Thanks for letting me join the forum, Troy

All of the 4 cyl in 05 have vtec.

LX, EX, EX-L, ect all have to do with what options came standard on the car.

Not sure what kind of info you are looking for? The 05's are pretty solid cars and not really any "known" issues that you should be worried about.
