Default New Member have had 3 Accords

I'm excited to become a member. I have had a 87 automatic, a 96 automatic, and currently have a 91 manual. They are great cars. I try to do all my own repairs and with old cars you get to do a lot. I just replaced the Speed sensor and now I am on to fixing the rear door window. Hope everyone has a great new year.

Yes, The sensor was a little hard to get to, but it took about an hour. The 87 LXi was tan and it finally died after 320k miles. I donated it to the high school. The 96 EX was champagne. I gave it to my girlfriends kid (I loved that car). My 91 EX is blue/green and has 178K and runs great, except the rear window needs grease (I think).

Over the years I have replaced timing belts, distributors, struts, belts, hoses, motor mounts, many sensors, etc. They are fun cars to work on and the parts are generally inexpensive.

Talking I wish I had found this forum sooner.

The service manuals are good, but I have found so much good stuff in the FAQ's that would have been helpful. I look forward to finding more and can help others with repairs I have done.

Thanks for the kind welcome
