We are almost ready to purchase a used Accord. It is a 2000 LE, clean title, 143,000 miles. Owner says it's been well maintained, uses synthetic oil. Timing belt replaced at 100,000 miles. Mostly freeway miles. I'm sure we will be happy with it, is there anything we should be aware of? Planning on keeping it for about 2 years.

Run a Carfax on it.

 

If its an automatic, pay real close attention to the tranny. That's a weak spot during the '98-'02 generation.
