Default Newbie from OH

Hey everyone, my name is Tom and I bought a 96 EX w/ 146k mi. It's an automatic and has that common kick to every shift. Is there any low cost remedy that you guys know of?? Trying to avoid a rebuild at this time and budget.

welcome tom. my 97 honda lx has done that for about 4 years. hasnt died yet!
