Hello all, I am a newbie here and this is my first Honda 2024 Accord EX-L. I have fiddled around with the modes but I am not able to use the accelerator pedal while in park. I am unable to rev the engine at all while in park, The Gas Pedal does nothing at all/has no effect. Highway mileage is great I think I was in ECO mode and got 54.8 MPG. I drove the car a few days ago and I think I was in normal mode and got 49.something per gallon. I know the mileage will be good which is the primary reason I purchased this car. However, the none operable throttle in park bugs me. Anyone care to chime in on what I may be doing wrong for this to happen or is this a built in feature by Honda. Car as 205 total miles on it.
