Potential new owner, some help deciding please.
I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this. I am currently doing a 2 day test drive on a 07 Accord. I have some questions about the deal I'm getting.
07 Accord LX 2.4 automatic w/ 66k miles. Price right now is 11,500 that is including tax, title, registration. Ticket price was 12,200. I think this is a great deal compared to kbb, edmunds, and what I have seen listed for the same make with similar miles. Very clean, well kept, flawless interior, from what I can tell drives really well, and the wife really likes it.
However I have some concerns about it. I have yet to take it to a mechanic and will do so Monday. Carfax shows 2 owners, a personal lease and a personal. During the 3 year lease there are regular records of preventative maintenance. During the other ownership (9 months and 25k miles) there are no records. I realize that PM's aren't always reported depending on the shop, but the 9 month 25k thing worries me. Am I overreacting.
Secondly, there is very very minor hail damage. I did not realize it the first time I walked around the car, but on closer inspection there are around 5 places on the car that can be seen standing next to the car, and 10-15 more that can be seen if right next to the car looking down the exterior at an angle. Along with this are small chips in the windshield (pinhead sized) which I will ask the dealer to repair. Lastly there are about 10 small paint chips most pinhead sized and 2 that are a little smaller than a BB. But I stress again that the damage was undetected the first couple times I looked over the car.
Is this still a good deal? right now it's my gut feeling that its still a very fair price even with the minor damage.

Thanks for any help, and I hope to be part of the accord club very soon.

I changed the link so it's not active (posting rules)
Check KBB & Edmunds for pricing comparisons. The 9mo-25k think might indicate long highway trips, which are actually a lot better than short trips.
I guess I'd insist on paintless dent removal for the hail dings. I think that'll be better for corrosion than traditional bodywork.
