tires and rims

im anew member i have a 96 accord ineed new tires is it a good idea to go to the dealer to buy them or are tires froma tire shop going to be ok for my suspension and weight comments and advice please

There's lots of good tire stores out there. Know your size & stuff, and shop around. www.tirerack.com has some good tech info about tire & wheelsizing. Good educational stuff even if you shop locally.

It makes no matter where you purchase your tires, what matters is that where ever you do buy your tires that they will take care of you if the tires go bad...That's what matters my friend

I would say go with a tireshop, they should know more about them seeing its all they do, and can usually offer a better price then a honda dealership. but as wheelbrokerang said, you have to find a place that will back up their product. i would ask around for a reputable local shop.
