Default Trying something new

Hey everyone, new to the forum, and to Honda. I've always been a domestic guy so I'm definitely outside of what's normal for me.

My wife was in need of a van, we tried selling her 03 Aztek privately, only to have no luck for a few weeks. We had the van we wanted, and the dealer obviously didn't want the van sitting idle on his lot for weeks on end, so ultimately we ended up trading in my 08 Grand Prix, fortunately doing that got us the van at an even swap; right on! That left the Aztek for me, while I didn't mind it when I owned my GP, it quickly turned sour when it became my daily driver. Fortunately, a week after the GP was gone, we got a call from somebody who was interested in the Aztek. It just went to it's new owner this past week, and tomorrow, I'm taking possession of a 1999 Accord EX coupe!

Dropping back to a 10 year old car kind of sucks, but given it's got 150,000km's (93,000mi), and the previous owner took superb care of it, no rust! I can see some good years ahead of me with my new car - if the stories of Honda reliability hold true.

It's black on graphite interior, leather, sunroof, 5spd matched to the 2.3L VTEC I4 engine. Gotta say, I've never driven a Honda until now, and it blew me away what I've been missing all these years, lol. No doubt if it passes the reliability test over the next few years, a newer coupe will be in my driveway

So, hi!

Well, I know my wife wouldn't like the idea, but I've had some fun with cars in the past - and I find I keep them longer if I do upgrade things here and there. I wouldn't do anything extreme, most of what I would do would likely be suspension work, likely a new set of rims too since the stock ones have some heavy curb rash on two of them, nothing too heavy in the engine, likely the basics.

A point in the right direction as far as websites for shopping would be a bonus.
