Hello everyone, just wanted to say that you have a great site here. I created a membership to be able to find some detailed instructions foraxle replacement on a 97 Accord EX. Very user-friendly search database and it seems that there are some very knowedgleable people here. Just wanted to say "Hi" as well.

Welcome! Good luck with the replacement. There are actually a few Honda mechanics on here so they should be very helpful. They also are patient so feel free to ask for any help!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I was really more worried about any honda-specific tools I would need. I am going to be doing the shocks front/rear and the upper ball joints on my Dodge Dakota the same day. I am sure you would love to be me this weekend.[sm=bangbang.gif]

There shouldnt be any Honda-specific parts youll need except a nice selection of metric sockets (10, 12, 14, 17, 19mm are the most numerous) and a bull joint puller would be a good tool to rent if your dont have one. i have worked on a dakota as well and they are much friendlier to work on, maybe because theyre bigger and have more room.
