is there a certain kind of turbo made for my car or is there some that are universal?

 

well all turbos are universal, its the manifold that has to be made for your car, and are also made to run a specific turbo

 

i have that kind of money just not enough to get a newer car cause i only boughtmy carfor $500.

 

i have seen somethin like a t3 of t4 turbo what is that?

 

the only problem is if you blow your motor it probably isnt easy to find a replacement. I personally would look into how easily a B or H series motor would drop in to gain more power, and also alot more potential for upgrades

 

T3/T4 is a basic turbo size, not huge, cant push huge boost, but more than enough for what you want

so what does a motor like that run? is ther a smaller turbo or a way to run less boost?

 

I did some independent research, and apparently the B18a and B20a motors will pretty much(few minor things) drop right in. These motors are not power monsters, but will def give you more than you have got right now.

Also The 3rd gen prelude is very similar to the 3rd gen accord, and i have seen people put H22s in those, so I would assume you could do it in a similar fashion.

I wouldn't go smaller than a T3/T4, and you can get a boost control to control the boost, a turbo inst set to a certain amount of boost, however they do have a maximum they can push out

 

sweet so im gessin that i have a 3gen accord? the h22 motor might fit but the b18 will fit beter than the h22? what does a turbo wastegate do and is it neccesary to have?
