First of all Im new to the forums, new to the F22A. I just picked up a nice 91 Accord F22A 5spd with 211k miles on it, the motor was rebuilt at 170k though. My question is, how much boost could the motor take, i have a rebuilt TE04H turbo off of my 89 turbo caravan, its a small turbo but i have nothing to do with it. The body on my car is shot, but interior is great, motor is super strong and the clutch is brand new. If you guys have any idea let me know and thanx in advance.

 

On that motor. I wouldn't go more than 7lbs. Then again i wouldn't boost it at all. IMO.

Yea exactly like that but mine was a rot box and i junked it.

 

didnt know those had turbos........learn something new everday

 

Yea not too many were made but there were some 5spds that are rare. Back to the accord, i think ill turbo it anyways, for $200 bucks if it blows up ill get my money back in junk.

Why not build the motor up first.

 

I dont want to build the motor because the back half of the body is shot, and it was lightly rearended.

 

So your just fooling around with the turbo? If the body is in bad shape
