96 Accord ecu options
I own a 96 accord ex wagon and just purchased a turbo kit for it and in my research I saw conflicting information from Honda forums if the F22B1 would be able to handle much boost, some say yes and others not so much. So, I found some forged rods, fuel regulator, and that I need to purchase a OBD1 ECU and adaptor for the ECU. Now, I called Hondata and they said they don't do the 96 accord, but in my research I found the Integra ECU is the same and I was told Civic too. The guy who told me civic works at a janky shop that no intelligent person should even take their motor or have anything else done so, I figured I'd ask here. What are the ecus compatible with my 96 accord and does anyone have any info on places that can do the chip? This is my first turbo install and even though I do have a lot of parts changing experience, I am learning about turbos and am doing a ton of research, but there's not a lot out there for my application and like I said, sometimes I get conflicting info. I did consider a motor swap, but it looks like a b motor requires a lot of custom component modifications that I'd rather not do like axels, I do weld, but somethings should be left alone. TIA
