F22B1 SOHC VTEC TURBO?!
You know looking into it you are right about the crank however not the rods..
Engine Rod Length Rod Width Main Bore Pin Bore
F20A 145.0mm/5.709 23.75mm/0.935 ??? 21.97-21.98mm/.8649-.8654
F20B 145.0mm/5.709 23.75mm/0.935 48.00mm/1.890 21.97-21.98mm/.8649.8654

As you can see the H22A are are 2.0mm longer stroking the motor.

I know this for a fact since I have owned both h23 and f22 engines. Also had a few h22's but that's off topic.
I spun rod bearing on my h23 and use my whole f22 crank rods and swapped the pistons over. They are 100% the same I promise

Sorry for the confusion. I was never talking about H23. I was talking about F22/ H22. You seem to know what you are talking about. let me ask you this. Are the H22 rods better then F22. I look at this for myself and am getting mixed feelings about it. I am currently building a F22 for boost( I plan on 15psi max). I don't want to cut my self short while I have the motor torn apart. I'm trying to do it right. goal 300 WHP.
the OEM h22 rods and little more "beefier" than the f22. I see ppl useing both of them. When I had my boosted f22 mine was pretty much stock. I use a h23 intake manifold and everything else on the engine was stock. I made little over 300hp and a good amount of tq.
But if you want to do it the right way get bisimoto f22 rods and piston combo(bisimoto.com). You will need to bore over by 1mm. If not he has a less expensive set that you won't have to over bore you can retain the stock 85mm bore.
Head work will be a big plus. port and polish the head and the intake manifold (make sure to use a h23 or f22a6 intake manifold NOT the f22a1/4). 3 way valve job. Bigger TB port matched (you will want to do that with the port and polish)

f22b2 non vtec is great for a turbo, h22, not so great. but you gota weigh your options, would you rather get a turbo on the F and always wonder when its gona blow? or get an h22 and have the power its built for. h22 all the way
I’m not concerned with blowing the ENG. I am building it up, new rods and pistons and head work. The goal is only 300 WHP. As for the F22 the only weak link is the rods and pistons. Looking into it, I have found. You get more bang for your buck with a F22 turbo then a H22 swap.
Cost.
F22 $400
Rebuild kit $200
Rods and pistons $600
Good turbo $1500- $3000
Total $2700- $4200
H22 $ 1800- $2500
Rebuild kit $ 200-300
Rods and pistons $600
Resleeve the block $400
Good turbo $1500- $3000
Total $4500- $6800
As you can see F22 is half the cost.
