Hey all i have accord 2004 ex 160 hp v-tech dohc what can i buy to get more hp up to 200 - max 250 i was thinking abaut cold air inteke but i dont know with one i best and exhaust system and what else please help me thanks
and i wanna ask somebody told me that those engines are best stock engines i that right ?

 

They are decent engines.
Cold air intake and exhaust might get you 5hp
The only way you are getting 200-250 HP is by nitrous or turbo (unless you customize internals)

 

vtec is wat u mean not vtech that a phone company..
yea the only way is turbo nitrous or fixing the heck out of it and like 00accord said customizingyour internals.

 

hey doesn't the 7th generation accords 4 cyl inline known as K24 or K20 or something like that??

 

K24.... K20 is the civic

lol yeah i looked em up.there both pretty good engines.

 

The 7thgens are K24s? Isn't that the same as the RSX-S? Or am I getting confused here...

 

rsx-s engine is a k20a3

 

^ what they said.. you'll hardly get anything out of just I/H/E bolt ons.. just installed my CAI yesterday and only difference was just the throttle being stiffer (not sure if that makes sense).. and my exhaust just makes it a bit louder.. you have to boost to get that much HP.. hope you got deep pockets
