I want to be like the guy who posted to my question first.

"All throttle, no bottle"
me too thats why i have put every penny i earn into my h22, but the f22 is just a impractical motor without a turbo..........and even with to a point

Well I was thinking, would it be useless to do a H22 swap then turbo it.

Heres an estimate on that

H22:
Swap + engine = possibly 500-900$
Turbo kit = 1500$
Rebuild engine sleeves and head = idk 100-300$

Whereas the F22:

Turbo kit = 1500$
Already has good compression ratios and does not need rebuilt.

I mean to me, it would be senseless to do the H22 one.

But I see that my f22 Turbo would be the same as a stock H22.

idk, its all so confusing....

You can get a turbo kit off ebay for roughly $800.

Your f22 can take 6-8 psi max on all stock internals.
If you have an auto, you'll need a big tranny cooler.
Heres one for the amount of $ you have saved up.

Please put your car year, model, and tranny in your sig so we can help you better.

a rebiult sleeved f22b1 with rebuilt head for 100-200 hehe yeah you wont get your pistons for 200 let alone get it rebuilt and sleeve for that you got to do some more research buddy not trying to be mean just look into it before you quote some prices

I can get a H22A here locally for 500$

And I was taking a wild guess on the resleaving as I don't want to have to do it.

I edited my sig.

And that turbo kit still wouldn't complete the turbo installation, I still need new:

Fuel injectors (450cc or up)
Tranny cooler
ECU Manager (or chip)
etc..

even if you can get the engine for $500, you still need ecu, tranny seeing you have a slushbox, and a slew of other parts, trust me i am doing the h22 swap right now, and i already have over $3,000k invest and the engines not even in yet.

and a turboed h22 is just a bad idea on stock internals

for 500??does that include transmission, wire harness,ECU,computer and things like that....to be honest with you even a H22 as a stand alone is not worth 500 dollars...is this a legit source...and besides on Ebay you get an H22 with EVERYTHING(but its an automatic) for about 1200...and its a legit source...but 500 for an H22?????hmmmmm....sounds too suspicious if you ask me...what's the condition on it?hows the compression ratio and such...because even a H22 that is blown is worth just a tad more then that...of course buying a blown engine is like buying a used condom...

Ok...

First let's just state that you should never buy a turbokit off of ebay. MM kay?

That last part tells me you seriously need to just stop here and save your money like I said before. Not only are your prices way off and your ideas/terminology, you really need to think about what you're getting yourself into.
