Thumbs up Need help!

hey guys im new to honda accord forums.I just wanted to know i have a 1998 accord ex v6 coupe(auto) with a new tranny.the car has high highway miles(145k)but runs like new.quick question!! i need to know would my car be able to run a turbo kit??? and if u guys know any or a custom step up i can run?i have a turbo thats brand new that was giving to me.

Help a brother out guys!!! THANKS!!!!!

for starters, you're gonna have to do a 5spd swap before you even think about putting that turbo in.

i think you can run a turbo on almost anything, if you can find piping and engine management.

depends on how much boost he's gonna run on a stock engine.

someone told me keeping it at 7 to 8 pounds of boost is safe.and it wont blow my tranny.

He meant he needs to swap it because the V^ auto tranny can barely handle the engine stock and usually dies anyways.

yeah thats about right..i believe thats the max boost a stock AT tranny(most of them anyway) could handle...
