hello everyone
I am new to the forum and i just purchased a 2005 2.4l, 5 speed accord sedan and was wondering if they make a superchargeror turbo kit for this car and if they do whatkind of powercould it make if isleeve and lower the compression and all that good stuff. Or would it be better to go allmotor?
thanks

I'd look more into what you've got before you decide to do things like sleeving the engine. I'm not positive about your K24A4 engine, but I know that the K20A3 has cast iron sleeves from the factory that can handle 450 whp with the stock lower end. I believe that they make both forced induction systems for your car, you have to search. What are you trying to achieve and with how much money? Also, with the K20, exhaust upgrades make the car slower until FI or N2O is added to the mix.

Ok...you just purchased it. Not a good idea to go tearing apart a perfectly good and new car/motor. You don't need to sleeve it or upgrade the internals. I believe comptech makes a supercharger for the TSX which will fit the accord.
In the event you do decide to build the motor - it will need sleeved. If you go turbo, you'll end up piecing together your own turbo kit. If you want to go all motor you could find a K20a or a2 head and swap it on, which give you more selection of headers and valvetrain components.
