Default question about nitrous...

The previous owner had a nitrous kit, at the very least there is a lever and switch at the bottom of the dash that he left behind...I was wondering, I still want to focus on your normal N/A mods (intake manifold, cam, heads, etc.) but was considering having a small (like 45 shot) nitrous put in. Would I have to be more conservative with the cam, etc. or could I still go all out on that stuff?

Default RE: question about nitrous...

My theory on that is if your stock engine can handle the small shot why wouldn't a beefier one? The thing to watch is that if you upgrade one part but not another you create a weak point... for example, aftermarket cam, a high lobe cam with stock valves probably isn't going to work and if it does you're going to beat the **** out of them and probably toast one... But Basically long and short, you may add a touch of engine wear on the non replaced parts that wouldn't normally be there but I would think it'll be okay....

How much of a shot you can go to I have no idea...
