So do you know where I can get that "Hayden 403 Tranny cooler"? I searched around and found the link where ^ posted the instructions. However, im still concerned if this will effect the warrenty I have for the transmission in any way and will I need any mods to install the system on a V6 Accord 98 Coupe?

 

just search google for it. mods, if any will be a bit of hose.

 

falkore, is a 6 pass haden better then a 16 plate cooler? trying to decide which to go for

 

it depends on pressure drop and heat rejection ratings ..... I really haven't looked into specifying the part since most of what I've read say touse that one. Also, remember that stock doesn't have the cooler so anything that doesn't restrict too much is going to be an improvement. From an airflow perspective, the plate will have to be mounted level to maximize cooling air while the finned coil type is affected less by positioning. Either is going to be better than the one-pass finned tubes that hang at the inside bottom of the radiator.

 

Oh ok. Cause people been telling me that that is a downpipe.
