Default Turbo?

Hey everyone,
just a quick question. I have done some(very little) research on turbos on accords. some of the sites said that a turbo could not be put into the accord because it was so jam packed in the engine area. i love cars, but know nothing about them. can a turbo be put in a 2006 accord v6? also if it can, how expensive would it be?

I am yet to see anyone do a setup on your generation. I think it's been done on the 6th gen v6 though. You would have to have someone make you custom manifolds and it would be pretty damn expensive. My turbo build was much easier since it's on a 4cylinder and since I did all the labor, the final cost was near $4000. I'm guessing it may be double that for someone else to do it.

I've heard of a couple supercharger builds for your generation. Maybe that would be easier, but as far as money is concerned it may be a wallet breaker ><

You can turbo a 7th gen it just would be as effecient since youd have to mount the turbo(s) farther from the engine. I was going to turbo mine, and your looking at about $1,000 in parts (non engine internals) with some shortcuts here and there. And those would be junkyard turbos with rebuild kits. Youd have to run lower boost. Need a serious tuning. And unless you know for sure your going to be staying at low boost like 5psi you prolly could get away without doing engine internals. Though you would need cams, headgasket and head bolts. Theres a lot of work to make a care handle the extra hp. Basic rule with power adding, horsepower = heat and heat is the enemy, especially to anything casted.
These 7th gens have so many dawgone sensors and they are so finicky it wouldnt be worth it. Unless like everyone else has said youve got a lot of disposable income.
My friend wanted me to build up his 79 vette. I priced him out at about $5,000 in parts most shops to do this work charge $60 an hour i charge $30. But that would net him about 500 hp.

I've been modding my According since I was 16, so for about 4 years now and I still am intimidated by turbo. Not that I am super mechanically inclined. Yes, I could install a turbo but tuning it is the key. There are literally millions of threads on turbos, so search for infor about it.

True. there are super charges for 7th gens, but every one i have met that has had a turbo or a sc, doesnt have any subs in their cars. safest and cheapest thing for you do to do is to continue you audio upgrade and visuals.
