I SOLD MY 94 COUPE ACCORD and bought a 98 accord v6 and I wanted to add a turbo kit but I saw a kit on EBAY for a v6. I just don't know if the v6 needs a special manifold because it has two.Here's the kit im talking about http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Accor...spagenameZWDVW

i think you might need turbo manifold, also some kind of ecu upgrade depending how mmuch boost you plan on running. Also you might want to do a tansmission swap becuase the that generation v6 only made automatics and they are super bad without even turbos, imagine if it was turboed.

 

I dont know much about turbos but that seems kind of cheap. Not to mention the piping closely resembles those cheap knock-off exhausts on eBay. I have heard of Garet turbos but just do some research and make sure they are qulaity turbos and that the bearing dont fail prematurely and what not. Also check the guys feedback to see what others have to say.

As for the transmission, if you keep it stock then get the biggest transmission cooler you can find and change that fluid as often as you can afford.

So its not recommended that I add a turbo correct. Whatother performance parts can I add to my car beside the turbo?

 

Well you can always start with the basics, which are my most favorite mods. Intake, header/headers, exhaust. Thats around a 25hp boost, maybe more. The you could go better sparkwires then better spark plugs. NGK of course.

you can also get a MSD 6AL to give better current to your sparks. Some CryO2 injected on the intake to get cooler air, and consider the transmission cooler, even if you don't go turbo. Good luck!

It looks like that kit uses part of the factory header and you just bolt on the exhaust piping, downpipe, and turbo. It's really not that bad of a deal since you get some of the major parts but its really lacking a lot of the little things you'll need but you can easily price those out yourself.

I think my buddy was looking to get that kit for his v6 sedan and then we were gonna try and fab the rest for him in my garage if he bought the parts. That turbo is kinda small for a v6 though, most guys use a GT30R I think.
