BTW, getting the 88 LX-i back on the road for the oldest went bad, dang it. Blew the head gasket,,,,must have been some weapage of coolant into #1 cyl. Intake valves stick open, one out of ten rev's of the engine. If coolant/water is left in engine for any time, slow crank-we all know water does not compress well, once it forces out the water, it cranks every time....one hit of the key....bam, fires right up.
Found an 89 LX-i for $350, going to look at it tomorrow afternoon. Hope between the two I can make one...again, just has to last until next winter, boy will graduate from NC State and join the USMC to be a pilot. He can buy whatever he wants from there.
