Default 2002 Accord - Is it worth it?

I'm looking to buy a 2002 Accord with 82,000 miles on it.
The price is approx $7,000.

Is it worth it? It would be my first Accord. I'm planning to get a Buyer's inspection done at a Honda dealership.
Can that be trusted completely? What else should I watch out for?

Thanks.

That's a pretty decent deal. If I remember correctly though I wanted an Accord with, eh, about the same mileage and it cost me about $6,500. It all comes down to the interior and exterior of the car, because I think your getting a decent price.

It's still a 9-year-old car. It's all about mechanical & body condition, not just about miles. Even a Honda can be beat up in 9 years if the last owner didn't take care of it.

The buyer's inspection is an EXCELLENT idea. It can be trusted as well as you can trust the dealer or mechanic who's doing it. Is that dealer any way associated with the seller?
