I had 115,000 on my last vehcile and the transmission was still going strong and it was a ford.
Now that's unheard of ..... a ford not falling apart!!!!
As far as I know, the only Ford trannies that really sucked the big one were in the Tauruses (they notoriously went at about 100k). My 91 5.0 Mustang is sitting in my dad's garage with about 180k on it and the trans is still ok. Although it leaks trans fluid(I think it's a worn out gasket somewhere)so you have to check it and add fluid every once and a while. If it gets low on fluid it will take a minute to go into drive, but other than that, it's good.

01 accord 4cyl. Tranny had a grinding noise at times at 40k miles. Drove fine other than the noise. Took it to the local dealer and got the tranny replaced for free. The guy kina scared me when he said it would be 4k to replace it since the 3yrs/36k miles just past. He said the tranny was covered for 7yrs/100k miles so it was gonna be free. Good thing they extended the warranty for the tranny because that kept my dad from going to Toyota for future cars. Kind of a defining moment I would think since we now own 3 Hondas instead of 3 Toyotas. Haven't had any problems with the tranny since the replacement. Going on 125k miles and still running strong.

My uncle has a windstar that went out around 60k. Don't know if that was a problem for all windstars.
