Class action suit, anyone interested?
2012 Accord SE, automatic, 33k miles. I paid good money for this car.
This whining issue these make is not acceptable for the money I paid for it.
2 dealers say it's "normal", some do it more than others. I did not pay this much for this car to have it sound like a broken sewing machine, and apparently Honda is aware of this but hides behind "its normal". A whining car is not normal!!!!
I had a 7th generation accord it did not whine, someone at work has 8th generation it does not whine.
If you have your warranty still in place, and think that will cover yours whining, think again, as long as they call it "normal", they are not going to do anything about it. I do regular maintenance and keep my cars a long time, how loud is this thing gonna be at 70 or 100 k miles?
Any one want to start a class action suite against Honda about this issue? Email me if interested.

Note: In the USA.. the 2012 Accord is an 8th generation vehicle... 2008 - 2012. 9th generation runs from 2013 - 2015. 7th generation runs from 2003 - 2007

I've got a 2012, and it's as quiet as a tomb. Do you have a sound clip you can post on SoundCloud and then link to here so we can hear it?
