falkore? shower? nahh....

and since were on a cop rant... i would too agree that female cops are on the worst power trips.... we have a nickname for them around here that i dare not speak in polite company...

this girl i know's dad keeps a couple of "I support the police" window clings on his rear window so when cops pull him over they show him more mercy...

................................. In my past experiences, most cops are uneducated jerks on power trips. The woman cops are the WORST about power trips.

I would not have dared say that, but since you have apparently gotten away with it unscathed, I'llchime in to say that Iagree with you 110%.I've never had any personal run-ins with the boys and girls in blue, but I've know people who have, and I've also personallyknown a couple ofcops (one RCMP)and people I went to school withwho laterbecame cops.

There isapparently anongoing, concerted effort by the powers that be, and their lap-dogmedia, to portray the people who take up that profession as automaticheros, or at least a cut above the average Jack or Jill. People who don't believe this way are almost always portrayed as either outrightvillains or eccentric oddities.

The all-to-obvious realityis almost always the opposite of this fanciful, comfortingmyth.
You are absolutely correct my friend. the media tries to act like more people that go into the police officer profession are going in with college degrees..... I call "BS" on that note.Hardly anyone would go through the trouble of 4 years worth of college and take an underpaying job that may or may not get you killed.
I have had a few run ins with cops in my wilder days. I respect what they do. But many cops themselves, I have no respect for. In the insurance industryI have learned that there is a fine linebetween cops and criminals. That fine line many times is nonexistant.

I thought they called that job the military? *L*

Most police stations around here now require a 4 year criminal justice degree. I can't speak for the rest of the country but in our area it's required.

That is definitely not the case in Mississippi. Cops starting salary here is around 25k per year(if they even get that!) No college graduatein their right mind would take such a low paying, high riskjob.

Here's the demotivator for today:

I got a ticket from a Memphis cop who had a tatoo across his throat. "Crips-4-life". No kidding.
