Well do I believe we should have gone there to start with? No. But now that we are there I feel that we cannot just leave. Part of me believe that we either fight it now there, or later here. How pissed would you be if a foreign power came into your country, destroyed your government, and left?

I would give the democratic government we set up a matter of days before it falls to foreign fighters.
Exactly my direct point/reason of voting for McCain. Plus I don'y want my family's taxes going up by 7k a year...

Depends. If I was America, my life and everything I believe would be destroyed. If I was Iraqi, probably the same, although from an American point of view, we are doing them a favor. They've lived like that for so long, many of them may agree to Saddam's dictatorship. Did anyone ask them what they want when this all started?

I'm sure there are people there that would rather be under Sadam's rule right now, however I believe there are more that would rather have a democracy like we are trying to set up, however I don't believe anyone wants the certain civil war that will erupt when we leave.

Understood... but isnt it our hard working tax dollars going into this war... and its just 7 years since 9/11.. imagine another 4 or more with McCain's war policy.. You think this economy is in turmoil now.. havent seen anything yet.

We are at a point now where this war rivals World wars in the past.. civil wars... as far as time spent..I agree we cant stop now.. But when? When our houses are repossessed by the bank.. excuse me the goverment..

IMO

There are more factors that are effecting the economy than the war, we have been in it for 7 years, only one of which the economy has been in shambles. Counter insurgency campaigns are long, and always have been, its something Bush did not really take into consideration when he started these shenanigans, but thats another story.

I plan on seeing it because I think he's interesting, politics aside. The movie was only supposed to go up to the invasion of Iraq, that's why it doesn't go to 2008. I wonder what his reaction to it was.....
