Default Gas mileage (Ethanol)

Hey, I filled up with ethanol after a while, and so far my gas mileage has been great! I think I might just be a little lucky, or my system is reacting well to the ethanol, which in some cases is used in racing. Well, any thoughts?

E85 or E10? E10 doesn't make a big difference but with E85 expect your MPG to drop by about 20% or more.

in my area i notices that my accord went from an average of 25-26 to an average of 23-24 (mixed driving). It was an abrupt and noticable change that occured when they switced fuel here

Even with considerably more HP and weight, The CL type S gets an average of 24mpg mixed

I didnt think it was very good to use E85 in a car not meant for it. But theoretically your gas mileage should drop. I think 1.6 gallons of E85 will create the same amount of energy as 1 gallon of gasoline. Therefore it takes more, and the price difference usually doesnt make up for it

well the thing is, running e85 will end up causing problems because it runs a lot hotter while not giving you the gas mileage ^_-
