How much fuel consume your Honda Accord?
Nope, I'm pretty sure kayweb's car is a spark ignition gasoline fueled engine. That said, I managed just over 490 miles on one tank on a round trip between New Hampshire and New York, and that was in spite of the fact that my car has a V6 coupled to the wheels by a slushbox automatic transmission, and I didn't hypermile.
Said another way, a 4-Cylinder Accord of 1994 vintage managing 563 miles on 17 gallons, while certainly good, isn't even remotely up to what it would be if he had a diesel. Had he been blessed with a diesel engine under his hood I would have expected well over 750 miles on those same 17 gallons of fuel.

Texas: Just stay out of VTEC!
The receipt says 16.43 gallons, it was sputtering by the time I reached the gas station. I've gotten more out of it before, honestly.
Best record was 4/19/13, 526 miles on 14.76 gallons (35.6 MPG), but that was pulsing up to 60, turning the engine off, coasting down to 50, bump-starting, and repeating, plus it was nearly all freeway, with some nice mild downward grades.
I've also removed some stuff like AC, windshield washer components, cruise control, spare tire, rear speakers, (plus I think my CAI weighs less than OEM) and I'm a skinny lil' dude (125lbs).
And my tires are inflated to 41-44 PSI dependent on ambient temps
EDIT: Also I don't know exactly what effect my exhaust and headers have on fuel economy.
