thats insane, incredibly dangerous because i dont think it would stop too well, but cool to see none the less.

 

I live in miami, and have never even seen a snowmobile. How would it be able to steer on pavement? Doesn't it just use a pair of skis that turn a bit, and catch the snow to make it turn? Also how HP does an average snowmobile have?

 

If you look closely at the video you can see they put a pair of wheels in the front instead of the skis. I dont think snowmobiles have a ton of hp, they just use it to their advantage b/c of their microscopic weight!

 

Check out this Yamaha snowmobile. I just picked this one at random, just to check hp numbers. 150 hp? Thats more than my car has ever had. Anyone know the possibilities of an engine swap...? LoL

Lol its water cooled. You would thing air cooling would be fine at 30 below degrees. That is a ton of power for such little weight. Although my I4 has more hp then 150. Gotta love these new efficient engines.

 

Up here once the snow hits every road,trail,etc. turns into a snowmobile trail. Same with Quads during the summer you will see them on all the roads up here.
